This is an ongoing option to work with a Mentor in installing a radon mitigation system.  This is only available for currently certified professionals.

C-NRPP has developed a distanced-based mentorship program where you can complete the steps involved with working with a mentor through key steps of installing a radon mitigation system.

We recommend that you complete 3 separate mitigation systems through this mentorship.  Please note that in order to pass the mentorship you need to install the systems in accordance with the CGSB standard.

You can find a copy of the standard online here:

CGSB Standards National Standard of Canada: Radon Mitigation options for existing low-rise residential buildings:

At the start of each mentorship, you will need to complete the sign up form.  You can sign up for your mentorship here. (when you sign up for mentorship, please use the email that you will use to communicate for the entire process as this will ensure communications are more efficient)

The next steps will include:

  • Step 1 – Mitigation Scene Survey - important to stop and discuss with mentor after this step
  • Step 2 – System Design Worksheet
  • Step 3 – Depressurization Test Report
  • Step 4 – Completed Mentorship Form- important to stop and discuss with mentor after this step
  • Step 5 – Mentorship Evaluation Form

Once you have started the mentorship, you will need to communicate with your mentor at the stops noted above, but if you have any questions, please feel free to check in with us at anytime.

For your mentorship you will also need a micromanometer and some additional equipment.  You can purchase a mentorship kit through C-NRPP.  You can order it online here: https://form.jotform.com/91624548331255
